Clean Your Air By Reducing Germs and Odors
Most people spend over 90% of their time indoors, not knowing that the air they are breathing may be more polluted than the air outside. The Environmental Protection Agency has reported that indoor air pollution levels can be 100 times higher than the air outdoors.
Breathing contaminated air puts the health of you and your family at risk. In fact, the American College of Allergist says that 50% of illnesses are caused or aggravated by polluted indoor air. So take control of your indoor air quality by reducing pollutants that can contribute to headache, lung irritation and fatigue as well as more long-term conditions such as asthma, allergies and infectious diseases.
Air Knight does not need the pollutants to travel to the air handler for UV treatment or filtration. Air Knight is proactive and uses oxygen to aggressively seek out and destroy pollutants at the source - in the air and on sources, before they can reach your family, clients or employees.
Air Knight The RGF Phi Cell ( Air Purifier) is installed inside of the ventilation system of your home or office building. The Phi Cell (short for Photohyrdoionization cell) uses light, water and oxygen to produce "Mother Nature's friendly cleaners" - hydro-peroxides. These cleaners circulate through your conditioned air space and kill airborne and surface viruses, bacteria, mold, odors and VOCs before they can spread.

2011 Federal Tax Credits are now Available for Qualifying Residential Heating and Air Conditioning Systems
Sullivan Heating and Cooling is pleased to report that the federal tax credit on qualifying high-efficiency HVAC equipment was modified and extended through December 31, 2011 by the Tax Relief, Unemployment Insurance Reauthorization, and Job Creation Act of 2010. This program differs from the program effective in 2009-2010 in the following ways:
*Electricity use of no more than 2% of the total energy use of the furnace
The maximum amount an eligible homeowner may receive in tax credits for “residential energy property” will be $500. The cap is on the total amount of credits a homeowner may claim for purchases between 2006 and 2011, not just for 2011. If a homeowner has already claimed credits of $500 or more through this allowance, they will be unable to claim new credits for improvements made during 2011. All furnaces and boilers, whether natural gas, propane or oil, must have an AFUE of 95 or above to be eligible for the credit. The credit is no longer 30% of qualified residential energy property costs (including labor), but is now equal to an amount not to exceed:

These days everyone is concerned with how to save costs and energy in the home. Heating and air conditioning a home can be quite costly and energy draining. There are some important tips that can create a better use of energy and a better flow of money in your home.
Cutting back on the energy used through air conditioning and heating can take some effort on the whole family`s part. It takes an understanding of how things work and what techniques make for a better home. Learning tricks and applying them can not only educate you on healthier ways to save energy, but can also wage a lasting impression on any kids that live in the home. Hopefully a new generation will emerge thinking that energy saving tips is the norm and do not know any different.
The first way to ensure a well efficient home is to have an annual heating and air conditioner inspection. It only makes sense to have these two very important operating machines within the home, working at their best. Yearly maintenance and service can keep your systems working and operating smoothly creating a healthier home.
Remember that changing filters is important or cleaning reusable ones. Your furnace will run better and cleaner with new filters. Dirty filters can wage poor air calibre in the home and make your furnace work harder.
It also makes sense to install an energy star eligible programmable thermostat to automate HVAC systems in the home. You can optimize the HVAC operation in your home 24/7 based on your regular schedule. And this programming can be override at any time if changes in the schedule occur. This thermostat makes perfect sense, so that you`re not heating rooms that are not being used, or that your air conditioner is not at its highest while you`re at work.
